Prospective Members and Sailors

We are now closed to accepting new membership applications for the 2024 season. If you are interested in joining us in time for the 2025 season, please send us an email expressing your interest using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the Home Page.

Please let us know if you have prior sailing experience either as a skipper or crew. Perhaps you learned to sail many years ago and you have an interest in getting back into the sport as an adult. We can help get you on the water again and racing in one of our adult fleets.

If you want your child or grandchild to experience the thrill of harnessing the wind and having fun sailing with their friends and making memories that last a lifetime, our club provides a supportive and welcoming family sailing community.

More Regatta Information

Greetings OLYC Members,

We invite you to take part in our annual Blue Chip Regatta. We are looking for VOLUNTEER HELP so please follow the link below and select one or more assignments that suit your interests.

Then, join in the fun! Friday night: Burgers on the grill at Jonny D’s starting at 5:00 pm. Come and meet the celebrity guest for 2024!

Racing begins Saturday morning and continues through the weekend. Come out and cheer on the fleet. Take a few of our guests along for the ride.

A steak dinner buffet prepared by our grill masters is served Saturday evening, September 14 followed by the band “Burgundy Ties”. Reservations are required for dinner and can be made by contacting Deb Prange. Seating is limited. Another option is to join in at 8 PM for live music and drinks at the bar. Sailor casual dress/no additional charge to attend.
