The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

Our annual Spring Work Days are always a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new acquaintances. New members are encouraged to jump right in as we get our club ready for the new summer season. During the off-season, our sailing and social planning teams have been working extra hard to prepare a full calendar of competitions and exciting social events, both schedules will soon be posted on the OLYC webpage. Before the season begins, we are asking for your help.
Shoreline:
Install our remaining small piers and boat lifts. Some heavy lifting will by required. Volunteers should bring gloves and waders (if you have them). Experienced members are also requested to bring the required tools.
Grounds:
We will be getting our boat ramps and landscaping looking nice by picking up fallen branches, trimming our plantings, raking leaves, removing weeds and old growth, mowing the lawn and hauling away the debris. New signage will be affixed to our ramp gates. Volunteers should bring gloves, rakes, trimmers, trowels, clippers and any other garden tools to get the job done. We‘ll also need a couple of members with utility trailers to haul away the collected organic material.
Clubhouse Exterior:
Install garden hoses, clean balcony, lower terraces and other hard surfaces, wash eaves and windows. Arrange outdoor furniture. Volunteers should bring gloves , electric blowers, exterior window cleaning equipment and wash brushes.
Clubhouse Interior. As needed, assist the Social Team with general cleaning and preparation of our main level for the Derby Party to be held that evening. Some cleaning tasks may require working on a step ladder.
CPR/AED training by Western Lakes Fire Department
Training certified by American Heart Association.
Certificate issued upon successful completion.
